When there is even a little sun, you can find locals at a beach that is called “Hietsu” in Helsinki slang. “The best looking men in Helsinki,” says my mother of all people… but she is a bit of a perv. There are plenty of scantily clad young women for all you boys too. The beach has a café with an internet connection, food, beer and ice cream (all the necessities). If it gets too hot for you, you can wander through the graveyard nearby, it is impeccably designed and seems more like a park. It is beautiful and actually, quite romantic.
