Monuments and Historical Sites:

After my year living in the Kansai area, Todaiji Temple still remains my most awe inspiring sight. Having walking in to this place will remain one of my greatest moments in Japan. It is an enormous wooden Buhdist temple part of the Nara National Deer Park. The statue of Budha within sits in the center.  I can not say enough.  IF you make it to the Kansai area, its is short, 45 minute train ride from Osaka Namba train station, and must not be missed.
