Green Gecko is a new, traditionally styled Thai villa, not in Udon Thani but about 20kms outside, in the midle of the rice farming lands.

It's a great place: the building and decoration are all of a very good level (roofs finished in handmade tiles, proper woodwork etc!) and the private swimming pool on the wooden deck was one of the highlights of our stays.
The rates include all meals and drinks, as well as aiprort transfers, so basically if you take the villa with more than 2 guests you really do get an excellent bargain, for a property that would cost you a lot more elsewehre.

The host family were very kind and helpful - and the Thai meals superb!
