Intro to The Mondavi Center
The austere Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts was built in the early 2000s thanks to wine tycoon Mondavi and is now the premiere venue for cultural performances and speakers. The interior space is praised by locals for its versatility and acoustics and, indeed, this architecturally modern, limestone building regularly hosts top-rate speakers, operas, musical performances and theater.
