A Miami institution since 1977, David’s two locations caffeinate half the people in South Beach every day. Get Cafe con Leche and a pastelito at the counter, or dine in and try traditional Cuban breakfast—tostada, bistec or tortilla de huevos. David’s Cafe II off Lincoln Road has an impressive wall with pictures of celebrity patrons, and there’s a good chance that you may spot one on any given day. It’s also a good spot for lunch of you want to sample genuine Cuban fare.
