Vienna Hostel : Happy Hostel

The rooms and apartments of Happy Hostel are located in the centre of Vienna in two buildings close together in a quiet and safe residential area.
The rooms (no en-suite) and apartments (en-suite) of Happy Hostel are located in the centre of Vienna close to train station, public transport and not fare to the main attractions. Only three minutes to walk from the west railway station, the subway and tramway stations and the much loved shopping and walking street, Mariahilfer Straße?.

By subway line 3 (U3) you reach the St. Stephan?s place in 8 minutes.
By U6/U4 also only 10 minutes to the Palace and Zoo Schönbrunn.

For every traveler to Vienna who would like to stay cheap and
comfortable - for business or private reasons - this is an ideal place
for time of business or savoring the cultural monuments and events.
The individual traveler will be welcomed here, as well as couples or
families with childrens or groups.

In the Happy Hostel you create your own feeling: quiet and private for
yourself in your own room or apartment, or together with friends with all the advantages of a private room or apartment.

All the apartments are completely equipped with kitchen,
bathroom/shower/toilet and cable TV. Maximum 3 rooms (no en-suite, shared facilities.)
Additional services for all guests are available for a little charge:
Laundromat, dryer, and telephone/fax on demand. PC with free internet access!

Please note the following information:

1) The estimated arrival time must be notified to us
(24 hours system.)
Example: 11:00am = 23:00pm)

2) If the actual arrival time will be more then five hours later, it is requested to call or to inform us by e-mail, otherwise the room become available for other guests.

3) Cancellation minimum 24 hours prior to arrival day. In case of to late cancellation or no show we charge the amount for the first night.

4) No smoking in the apartments, rooms and common areas.

5) Paying by credit or debit card we charge one Euro for the service.

When you arrive by train at the west railway station you see in front of it the "Gürtel" street. Cross it and then turn right hand and follow it about 100 meters until the Hotel Mercure (do not confuse with the Mercure left of the train station!). Straight after it you enter in the Aegidigasse. You follow it some 50 meters to the first corner right hand and you enter in the Kurzgasse.

When you arrive by train on the south railway station, take the tramway
18 at the front - direction Urban-Loritz-Platz - and go to the
Mariahilfer Gürtel station. Cross the road and go in the left of the Hotel Ibis in the Kurzgasse.

When you arrive by car you follow the indications ?Gürtel? and
? Westbahnhof?. On the Mariahilfer Gürtel direction west railway station
you turn to your right after the Hotel Ibis just before the Hotel
Mercure. Straight after this hotel you come to the Aegidigasse. You follow it some 50 meters to the first corner where you go to your right in the Kurzgasse.

Attention: paid parking in the front of the building and in the whole
district (working days from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.); saturday/sunday/holyday
is free. The Apollo garage 10 minutes to walk. Free parking places
outside of the Gürtel.
When you arrive by airplane in Vienna Airport Schwechat you take the
shuttle bus to the west railway station and then you go as indicated
at the top.
