Once a legendary Global Village Hostel, now an even better SameSun backpacker’s lodge! We like you guys. We want you to like us. Spread the love and all that. So we’ve pulled out all the stops, and are putting a massive brand new kitchen upstairs, a huge funky common area downstairs and, due to popular demand you’ll get your very own cantina and bar especially designed for the backpacking masses. Cheap food, drinks and live bands. Pretty cool eh?

Still the largest hostel in downtown Vancouver with central location in the heart of Vancouver's Backpacker district - great atmosphere, friendly staff, and shiny happy backpackers. Facilities include private rooms, quad rooms, laundry, internet access, games area, lockers and patio. We’ll hook you up with cheap Vancouver Canucks tickets for the NHL fans amongst you. We’ll help you sort out your Canadian adventures from the hostel’s activity/travel info desk.

Clean, comfortable, safe and fun. We reckon this isn’t just the best hostel in Vancouver but probably the best hostel in the world. Don't just take our word for it, come check us out!

To get to the hostel from the Airport, hope on the downtown Airporter service. The cost is about $12 CAD per person, one way. A taxi from the Airport is approximately $25 one way.

From the Greyhound bus station, take a taxi to the hostel and get a receipt and we will take the cost off of your overnight!
