Located in Liguria on the Tuscany border, our guesthouse is only 2km from the costal motorway, between Pisa and Genoa airports.
Located in Liguria on the Tuscany border, our guesthouse is only 2km from the costal motorway, between Pisa and Genoa airports (Ryanair). It is also 8km from La Spezia (main north/south rail connection).

This is the affordable way to discover Liguria and Tuscany,a good location to get to the cinque terre and we are close to the sandy beaches of lerici ,also great to explore the main cultural Italian cities such as Florence, Pisa and Lucca.

We are close to the touristic areas such as Lerici, Porovenere and Lunigiana. It is also the ideal stop over on the north/south Italian coastal route. Nearby are many local restaurants serving traditional Ligurian and Tuscan cuisine.
Ideal for back pakers and cyclists!
Groups of up to 16 peaple welcome!

Our facilities include 6 large private clean rooms, most with shower/bidet/basin, 2 with large balconies and 3 large shared bathrooms.
The Locanda feels more like a hotel than hostel.
Locanda has a friendly atmosphere and a good local bus connection to la Spezia town centre(boats to cinque terra and buses to Lerici) also the rail station where you can take trains to cinque terre.

Note:
We are sorry but we can only check you into the hostel bettween 8am and 12pm otherwise bettween 6pm and 9 pm.

Buses leave from directly outside La Spezia station, take C or S/C(bolano/piano di follo)
bus ,we are between bottagna and piano di follo(ask the bus driver for stop).Tickets avail.
at tabacco kiosks around 1.30 euro.Hotel situated in centre of Piano di Valeriano .Bus take
20-30 mins.If you arrive by car exit autostrada at La Spezia ,follow spezia sign then 1st
exit "vezzano ligure", at T junction turn left and immediately left again,follow for about 2k
through bottagna then follw straight road 1k and turn left to Follo.Take first right after petrol station,arrived!
