The Central Hostel is a modern villa with a spacious area garden equipped with outdoor barbecue grill. The hostel is situated in the middle of Bucharest and in the best position for connections to any place of the city.

Welcome to Central Hostel, with new Italian management, renovated and opened again in spring 2007. We have 34 beds in rooms which accommodate between 2 and 8 people.
The hostel is situated near ?Piata Gemenii" square, near to food markets, restaurants, and clubs. With our 24 hour reception, there are young and friendly staff that will be happy to assist you with anything you may need. Also there is no curfew.
You can cook what you like in our fully equipped kitchen and have breakfast or dinner outside in our spacious garden area, read under the shade, and relax!
The following facilities are included in our price: breakfast, use of internet, use of the kitchen, main lounge, lockers-safes, linen and blankets, bag storage, travel info-maps, hot showers, no smoking.
We also have available for our guests guide book, telephone cards, and use of the local laundry.
We organized airport pick up upon request, which is not included (in the price).The cost is: from the airport "Otopeni" = 14 euro, from airport "Baneasa" = 9 euro, whereas from international train station "Gara De Nord" = 6 euro. The price for a car (maximum 3 people & suitcases).When you arrive in Bucarest please contact the hostel by telephone.
Please Note: Discount for groups between 5 and 20 people is 5% off booking, and discount for groups between 20 and 36 people is 10% off booking. After your booking we ask to send a bank transfer 30% off your booking as an advanced payment. We don't accept credit cards, payment at arrival just cash.

Before you get in any bus or tram you must by a ticket from the grey kiosk that you?ll find in each station. As soon you get in the bus or tram you have to punch the ticket.
Doesn?t matter fom where are you travelling from in bucharest - you need to get to DACIA BOULEVARD then on to PIATA GEMENII and from there it's 100 meters walking.
From the main RAILWAY STATION ( Gara de nord ) : take bus 79, 86 or 133 from the top near the station and get off at PIATA GEMENII ( 7th stop) . From there , it is a 100 m walk.
From OTOPENI International Airport : take bus 783 to PIATA ROMANA and then walk along BOULEVARD DACIA for 15 minutes , or take bus 79 , 86 , or 133 from PIATA ROMANA to PIATA GEMENII (3th STOPS).
From BANEASA AIRPORT : take tram nr° 5 to PIATA GEMENII station .
By Subway : go to PIATA ROMANA station (on line M2) then walk for 15 minutes along BOULEVARD DACIA , or take bus 79, 86, or 133 from PIATA ROMANA toPIATA GEMENII (3 stops).
By taxi : recommended companies are CRISTAXI , COBALCESCU , MERIDIAN and PROFTAXI . All should charge 8 ? from the railway station (GARA DE NORD ) or 11? from BANEASA AIRPORT and from OTOPENI AIRPORT will cost about 25? |
