Armadale Youth Hostel, situated in a stunning position overlooking the Sound of Sleat, is just a stone's throw from the Mallaig-Armadale ferry and less than one mile from the pretty village of Ardvasar.
The perfect base for exploring the southern peninsula, known as the 'Garden of Skye', this small and friendly hostel offers well-equipped, self-catering facilities with magnificent views to the rugged mountains of Knoydart. Good walks, seafood and wildlife watching opportunities locally.

By Bus:

There are 6 buses a day from Broadford. The last bus is at 16.25. Alight at Armadale Pier. The hostel is 5 minutes walk and is well signed all the way.

By Train:

From Kyle of Lochalsh Railway Station, take the bus service to Broadford and change here for the service to Armadale. Alight at the Pier. The hostel is 5 minutes walk and is well signed all the way.

By Car:

From Broadford, take the A851 sign-posted for Armadale & Mallaig Ferry. Once in Armadale the hostel is on the left-hand side, just past the Castle Gardens.

By Ferry:

Take the 30-minute ferry crossing from Mallaig to Armadale. Once in Armadale follow road away from the Pier. The hostel is a 5 minute walk and is well signed all the way.
