238 Guest House is located on Pahurat Road, the original jewelry business areas of old town Bangkok since 1940.
16 clean rooms in a very safe place, only a 10 minutes walk to Wat Pho and 15 minutes to the Grand Palace.

Easy to discover China Town and Little India with buses or ferries to downtown areas. Near by shopping centers include: The Old Siam Plaza, ATM Department Store, Central Department Store, convenience stores and many local food, restaurants, shops and night markets.

Room rates are in Thai Baht per room (room only). Rates include tax and service charges.
Rooms with air conditioning cost 200 Baht more per room.

Maximum of 2 guests per room.

All rooms have one queen sized double bed, a private bathroom with shower and WC. Please note that we do not provide a towel.

By Bus: Take the airport bus no. A2 (Sanam Luang Line) or take regular bus no. 59. When the bus reach to Rachadamneon Road you will see the very outstanding "Democracy Monument" get out there then you can take bus, taxi (around 40 baht), Tuk Tuk (motor-tricycle cost not more than 40 baht).

By bus, take the bus no. 60 from the "Democracy Monument" same bus stop where you get out from airport bus. Take no. 60 bus until the bus end up at bus terminal (by "Klong Lod" canal, all passengers will get out there). After that walk straight to the east, cross the bridge to Papitak Road then continue straight to Pahurad intersection.


Our 238 Guest House is located in the small alley on the right side of Pahurad Road (only 10 m. from Pahurat Road, you can easily see the gate from the main road). We have small purple sign board on the poll in front of the alleyway to the guest house. You also can print out our Map in Thai to ask the way from Thai people.


By Train: You can come to our guest house by the train from Bangkok International Airport by crossing to the opposite site train station then take any train to Hua Lam Pong station. When you arrive at Hua Lam Pong station, cross the road to opposite site then take the bus no. 25, 501, 507 pass Yoawarat Road (China Town main road) after the bus turn right at the end of Yoawarat Road, please get ready. The bus will turn left again to Chareon Krung Road (New Road), get out at Chareon Krung Soi 2. Walk straight through Chareon Krung Soi 2 alley, the alley will reach to Pahurat Road (around 30 m.). By the end of the alley at Pahurat Road you will see our guest house right in front of you on the opposite side of the road with its big mango tree.

By Taxi: Just print out our map in Thai then show to taxi driver Map in Thai. Taxi meter costs about 250-300 Baht depends on the traffic plus 50 Baht for airport surcharge. If you use the toll way and expressway you have to pay for the toll fee by your self. Toll Way fee costs 20 baht and Expressway fee is 40 baht.

Caution! According to our guests' experiences, some taxi drivers may try to drive you around or may try to offer you to go to other places such as shopping at the place where they can get the commission, etc. Please strongly inform the driver exactly where you want to go.
