The Hyde Park Hostel is London’s most famous and fun hostel. Our 200+ bed hostel is located in a beautiful Regency Building 100 meters away from Hyde Park. If you are looking for location you don’t get better than this. Hyde Park is London’s equivalent to New York’s Central Park – rollerblading, horse riding, boating, picnicking and there is always the famous “Speakers Corner.”

You will be perfectly positioned to visit all the major attractions London has to offer. You are within walking distance of Notting Hill Gate (where they shot the movie) and the famous Portobello Market. Kensington Palace is on your doorstep, and Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and Buckingham Palace are all within ten minutes by bus or tube. The Bayswater area is an excellent location for travelers and working holidaymakers. There is a lively main road with many restaurants, bars, cinemas, shops and numerous other facilities.

Our staff are young traveler's who will gladly help you in any way that they can, they have local knowledge and will be able to give you great advice on what to do and what to see.

The Hyde Park offers mainly dormitory rooms with bunk beds that range in size from the very friendly 12 bedded dorms to 4 bedded rooms and twin rooms. Toilets and showers are all new and are located on each floor. Guests are supplied with fresh linen for the duration of their stay and all beds have duvets.

*We cater for the 18 to 30yr old traveler, please note that we require official photo ID for check-in.*

Our now famous ITA “Late Night Bar & Bistro” (which is rare in London) is situated in the basement of our building and has many different theme nights. We have local London bands playing as well as some famous guest DJ’s from around the world. If you are looking for some good nights out in London our staff will be happy to recommend some of London’s best bars and clubs to you, but we are sure you will always end up back at the ITA.

We also have a great travel agency, Travelers Contact Point, which will offer suggestions for your onward travel and always have great deals. We offer great sightseeing tours of London, Europe and UK trips, skiing holidays and we can recommend great hostels to stay in all around Europe and the UK.

Public Transport wise, it can’t get much easier than this, there are two Underground/Tube/Metro stations within 150 meters of The Hyde Park Hostel. They are Queensway and Bayswater Stations. There are numerous bus stops that give you access to all the major airports.
