The Orient Espresso is something a little bit different in the St Christopher's trio of London Bridge hostels. It's also the home of the Oasis - a female only sanctuary with more of the creature comforts from home. Spaces at the Oasis are limited so be sure to book now.
Just because you're staying in a hostel doesn't mean you should be deprived of a good night's sleep. The Orient Espresso is the perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing visit to this great capital city. The hostel is above a funky little coffee shop and upstairs you'll find quiet, invitingly clean and comfortable room.

When you need to refuel before tackling more of the must see sights, pop downstairs for some great coffee, fantastic food and a quick chat with our friendly baristas. At the Orient you also get a free breakfast, five minutes down the road at the Village.

Other hostel facilities include a free travel library, complimentary chess in the coffee shop and Internet access in the cyber café. The rooms on offer include a 2 bed female dorm, a twin private room, a 4 bed female dorm, an 8 bed mixed dorm and an 8 bed female only dorm.

A short 5-minute walk will take you to the Thames River and a scenic Southbank walk. This takes you past the picturesque Tower Bridge, the stoic London Tower, the infamous Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the weirdly wonderful Tate Modern Gallery. Also en route you will come across the National Film Theatre, the London Eye, the Salvador Dali Museum, the London Aquarium and finally Westminster Bridge. This short 45-minute stroll leaves you at the Parliament Buildings, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben.

If you don't want to do it all in one go you can always stop off at one of the many bars, pubs and restaurants. The variety is wide enough to suit any palate and budget. One of our favorite pit stops is Giraffe, not far from the London Eye.

There's so much to see and do in London and the odds are that you could spend an entire year here and still not tick everything off your to do list. But give it your best go and at the end of the day when you're absolutely exhausted, you'll be happy to come home to St. Christopher's. Our comfy chill-out room was built with this in mind so that you guys could catch up on your journaling or curl up in front of a good movie.

Please be aware that you must show a photo I.D when you arrive. We only accept Passports or a Driving License as I.D.
GUESTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS OF AGE Must stay in a private room with guardians they can not share in general dormitory rooms with persons that are not part of their own group or family. Under 18s are not allowed the bars or pubs.

Stansted Airport
1.From the Stansted Airport Rail Station take the one train to Liverpool Street Station
2.Switch to the London Underground Circle Line towards King’s Cross St. Pancras
3.At Moorgate switch to the Northern Line towards Morden
4.Get off at London Bridge
5.Exit through Borough High Street and turn left down the street
6.Follow the street down to 161-165 Borough High Street St. Christopher’s Village for Hostel

Victoria coach station
