The Gershwin Hollywood Hotel is for the international traveler. It is conveniently located on the world famous Hollywood Blvd. and provides easy access to all of Los Angeles favorite attractions by Metro, bus or train!

There are also large, comfortable dorm rooms available which have carpeted floors and private bathrooms The Hostel dorm beds are subject to the age limit of 30 for international or out of state travelers.

Hollywood Blvd's 'Walk of Fame', starts mere minutes from the Gershwin's doorstep and leads to famous theaters including Grumman's Chinese where one will find the hand and foot prints of Hollywood's most famous movie stars. The Wax Museum, Ripley's 'Believe it or Not' Museum, and many more attractions are also nearby. A short bus ride will take you to the trendy shopping district on Melrose Ave or Beverly Hill's exclusive Rodeo Drive! The sunny California Beaches are also easy to get to by bus.

We are located 100m (2min.) from the RED Line station at Western Av. and Hollywood Blvd.

From the Airp.LAX, besides driving you have several options: Taxi is $ 45.--to$ 55.--/The Fly Away bus to Union station departing every 30 minutes and cost $3.--p/p one way. At Union go down-stairs and take the Red line metro to North Hollywood after 17min get off at Hollywood and Western Avenue. From the north west corner we are ca.100m away (5 story brick building) or from the Airport take the free shuttle to the green line going east to the blue line going north to the red line going to north Hollywood then get off at western and Hollywood blv. Day pass for metro and bus is $ 5.--/ The Airport shuttle cost $15.--to $ 16.--p/person but may take a while.
