We’re located within walking distance of Seaport Village, Little Italy, the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park (home to San Diego’s best museums.) Getting to the bus, train or airport is easy from our central location.

Staying with us is like having a local guide to San Diego! We’ll show you around and make sure you have the chance to meet other hostel guests! Our free weekly pub crawl, the Tijuana walking tour and bike tour will all get you meeting other travelers and seeing parts of San Diego you would probably miss on your own!
Our clean, comfortable dorm rooms sleep four or six people and have free security lockers for each guest. There are always people hanging in the lounge to talk to or party with and we have a fully-equipped guest kitchen where you can cook your own meals!

To check in you will need to present one of the following types of identification: A valid foreign passport, a Canadian driver's license or a current out of state college ID with out-of-state government issued id (driver's license, etc). You may also be asked to provide proof of current international travel. People under the age of 16 are not permitted to stay in dorm rooms. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone. Mixed dorms are reserved for co-ed groups traveling together. Couples must reserve two beds.

From Greyhound and Amtrak - exit station onto Broadway and turn left, walk to 5th Avenue, turn right and walk 2 1/2 blocks to number 726 5th Avenue. You will see a row of international flags hanging from the second floor of our building, our door is located between two Italian restuarants.
From the Airport - take bus #992 (cost $2.25) to 5th Avenue and Broadway, follow above directions from there.
