We are the recipient of the National Geographic Travelers magazine 10 best places to stay award for 2005!! Welcome to San Francisco's newest hostel, located in the city's warmest district. Areas such as Dolores Park and the Castro are within walking distance from the hostel.
The hostel is located in the heart of San Francisco’s most vibrant, cultural and historic districts – The Mission. Experience the sights and sounds of the neighborhood known for its murals, mosaics and paintings, while taking in the 360° view of downtown San Francisco from the city’s only roof top terrace. Our proximity to the BART and other transport makes getting around the city by the bay a breeze.

** Our rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. All rooms have private bathrooms. We are actually like a boutique hotel, but with the hostel spirit and prices!

**We have both Private Rooms and Shared Dormitories at our guest house.

**Queen Double Bed Privates for couples and Twin-bunk Privates for friends are available

**We have Women-only, Men-only and Mixed dorms available. Most dorms have only 4 beds. Our beautifully hand-crafted wooden bunks are extra spacious and sturdy. Every dorm mattress is a brand new, extra-long twin; 80 inches. Tall people will be happy!

**All linens are included for all dorm and private rooms.

**Private rooms have televisions. Dormitories have secure personal storage.

**WI-FI internet access is available for your laptop through-out the building. Our Free Internet Computers and Lounge are available 24 hours.

**We have a nightclub in the main restaurant, on Friday's and Saturday's, so you will hear loud music until 1:45am.

**No Curfew

**24 hour check-in

**And yes, all of our rooms have their own private bathroom!

Elements Hostel

Subway. $4.80 each person. First take free AirTrain to BART. Take San Francisco train and Exit at 24th/ Mission station. We are 3 blocks away at 21st St.
2. Door-to-Door Shuttle Van. $10 - $15 each person. Will bring you from the airport to our front door.
3. Taxi. Will cost about $35 for up to 4 people.
4. Driving. Take HWY 101 North to Caesar Chavez exit. Proceed on Cesaer Chavez West to South Van Ness and turn Right. Follow S. Van Ness to 21st St. Turn left and go 2 streets to Mission St. Turn left onto Mission St and pull into the passenger zone on the right, just after you turn onto Mission St. You are in front of our building! Drop off your luggage and then we'll show you the way to the parking garage around the corner. It costs $1 an hour or $11.50 for 24 hours.
