We provide luxury and style at reasonable prices, and all set on a beautiful Florida beach - what more could you want!
The Lonely Planet guidebook calls us "the most beautiful hostel in America."
Another guidebook, "Hostels USA" awarded us its top billing of four stars, naming us one of the best big city hostels. We believe that's because of our great room rates, terrific Mediterranean ambiance, and location in the heart of South Beach!

We have both male and female dorm rooms with four to six beds and all include a private bathroom en-suite, air conditioning, a ceiling fan and a refrigerator.

Sheets and towels are available from the front desk just with a deposit.

Dormitory accommodations start at a very good price per night.

We offer the members rate for groups over 4.

If you want more privacy, consider our single and double rooms with private bathrooms, or, if you are on a smaller budget, take a private room with a bathroom shared with the adjoining room.

You can meet interesting travellers from all over the world and share travel tips and information with each other, while making friendships along the way. Many lifelong friends and fond memories have been made while staying at here.

We have consistently been in the top 10 hostels in the USA, in both The Lonely Planet guidebook and Hostels USA. The beach has crystal clear waters, you won't find much better!

All accommodation has air conditioning, a refrigerator, en suite bathrooms and a ceiling fan. All rooms are uniquely decorated, relating to the tropical Miami area.

Our hostel has a history of its own, Al Capones gambling ring was run from The Clay hotel in the 1930s. Don Johnson, Sylvester Stallone and Elton John have all been guests of the Clay hotel, filming movies and music videos. The Clay hotel is home to the stars! The pilots for the TV show Miami Vice were even filmed here!

Night life in South beach has world recognition. There are many bars, restaurants, clubs to suit all tastes. For those wanting to dance the night away, we can recommend numerous clubs or you could go to the theatre or catch a movie! You will never be bored in South beach.

The quickest way to get to the ‘Clay Hotel’ from the Miami International airport
is either by taxi or super-shuttle - the airport van service! If you prefer to use public transportation, you may use the following directions:

From the airport:
Take the J bus to 41st St. and Alton Rd. Transfer to the C bus to 15th St. and Washington Ave.

From the Greyhound station:
At Bayside market take the C bus to 15th St. and Washington Ave.

From Amtrak:
Take the L bus to Lincoln Rd. and walk 3 blocks south along Washington Ave.
