Hostel Info for The Northshore Hostel
A great hostel on Maui, "Aloha from all of us at the NorthShore Hostel!"
Maui is one of the most beautiful islands in the world, with tropical rainforests, beautiful beaches and the world's largest dormant volcano. Conde Naste Traveler has consistently rated Maui the most popular island destination in the world! Come visit our Maui hostel and see why.
The Northshore Hostel is a great Maui hostel and an ideal location to explore our tropical paradise. Nestled comfortably underneath a beautiful Banyan tree in Old Wailuku Town, our historic building is only minutes away from the finest windsurfing, snorkeling, surfing, sunbathing, whale watching (Nov-Apr) and some of the most breathtaking wonders in the world. Wailuku is very busy during the day, but is quiet at night and weekends. There are local restaurants nearby in walking distance, and a car will enable you to explore our sister cities as well.
For the less adventurous, we are also within walking distance to many unique shops, art galleries, the famous Iao Theatre, a great local museum, and many fine restaurants and coffee shops...or you can simply relax on our balcony with splendid views of the West Maui Mountains, Haleakala Volcano, the lush Iao Valley and the Pacific Ocean! The best view offered by any of the Maui hostels.
The Northshore Hostel can comfortably accommodate as many as forty guests. We are located on the second floor of a 75 year old building which we are restoring. Some of the rooms are newer than others, so the feel is definitely eclectic!
We offer affordable male and female dormitory spaces as well as private rooms to travelers from around the globe. Our rooms are clean and comfortable.
You will also find our fully furnished kitchen quite useful, and our four bathrooms are newly renovated and kept clean. We are the cleanest and friendliest of the Maui hostels.
