LocationKangaroo Island is Australia's third largest island and is located about 110 km south-west of Adelaide. It is accessible by a 1 hour ferry trip from Cape Jervis on the mainland, to Penneshaw on the island itself. Kangaroo Island Lodge is 25 minutes from Penneshaw and is sheltered in a small fishing village overlooking the American River Bay.
