Introduction 2001 to 12/01
 
This was my first time spending more than a week or two away from "home", which at the time was Lafayette, LA, and was also the first time I lived away from friends in an area I didn't know the town or people. This was a very transitional time for me when I took a few months off to spend in a small town in northern VA with my aunt and her son.
