European Fun - Our Trip Begins... in Amsterdam


Our Trip Begins... in Amsterdam 2006-07-21
 
    Jessie awoke at 4am... I had been in and out of sleep all night due to the heat, and occasional noises near our hostel. we rushed to get out of our hostel and to the bus stop.. the map didn't mark that the street was a one way, and of course it was going in the wrong direction, so we wandered till we found a stop going the right way, and got our tickets from the machine just as the bus pulled up... we had to ask a friendly bloak which stop to get off at.. luckily he was going to the same stop to see his visiting friend off. We arrived at the Liverpool train station, and took the Stansted Express train within 2 minutes of arriving. From the Stansted airport we took a RyanAir flight to Einhoven in the southern Netherlands. This was followed by a scenic bus ride through the countryside to Amsterdam Central Station.

Alot of traveling, but we were in Amsterdam, and here our trip would finally begin.
