Introduction 2006-03-17 to 2006-03-19
 
South Australian Tourism Commission Famil Invite - March 2006. Stayed out at Glenelg. Saint Paddy's Day, Fringe festival. Famil kicked off with presentations by the various SA tour operators before a few quiet ones down the pub. Mick (Heading Bush), Cindy (Groovy Grape) Luke (Surf & Sun) Amber (Wanderers Travel) & I deceided on just one more for the road, just happened to be Saint Paddy's day. Saturday - Surf & Sun - Morning surf at Middleton (murky water - 3 others out, thank fuck none of those pesky White Pointers) followed by a walk at Fleurieu Peninsula. Lots of seals in the water. Checked out Victor Harbour. That night we witnessed a VERY weird play at the Fringe festival. Next day we where off to sample a few wines at the Barossa Valley (Groovy Grape) after a photo op at the World's largest Rocking Horse. With the group pretty quiet leading up to the 1st winery the guide just sat back knowng what will follow. By lunch time we were all best mates and Wine appreciation had gone out the window. By days end Amber & myself were well and truly on our way to a repeat of Friday night until we had to try and Self check in for a VirginBlue flight back to reality. Finally we were checked in and legging it to the boarding gate, wine/schooner glasses in hand.
