Last days in Guatemala: Atitlan, Orphanage,...
 
We finally made it to Lake Atitlan. We ended up scoring a room in a most amazing hotel, "Casa del Mundo" (house of the world) which is built into the stunning stone cliffs that descend to the lakeside. I'm not going into the beauty of the Lake because I think it's best to see it for yourself. We really enjoyed our short time there. I hope we can go back some day...

When we returned for our last week in Antigua, we had a lot to do. I had to finish my project before Thursday and hadn't really made much headway yet. It was as system to allow the librarians at the orphanage to keep track of how long each kid read a book. They accumulate "points" for reading the books and can then turn them in for real goodies (even some really cool race cars and stuff!).
