Maldives and Diving
The Maldives were simply amazing! We were picked up (by boat!) from the airport and whisked to the lovely Manthiri, our home-at-sea for the next 12 days. I will start by saying that we fear we've been spoiled so badly from our experience there that diving anywhere else may seem underwhelming. Let's hope not! We did 3-4 dives every day, and saw incredible sea life: 40-ft whale sharks, huge manta rays, nudibranchs (colorful little slugs that people who've been diving for too long seem very excited about), reef sharks, tuna, napolean fish (well, you get the picture, and we don't want you to have to go grab an undersea guidebook!).
