Go south young man! 2006-03-16
 
And I did. I headed out from Berkeley to Santa Cruz. That drive isn't particularly nice until you hit 17. At that point the "freeway" is whittled down to two winding lanes that run through the Santa Cruz mountains and sets you down right on the coast in Santa Cruz.
