Strip malls at their worst 2006-03-16
 
I drove into Salinas and waited for Jake to pick me up. I had a few hours to explore. I hope there's more to Salinas than what I saw. This poor place seemed to be dominated by huge strip malls. Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc. And the older neighborhoods seemed to be withering.
