Berkeley to Boston - Design Day 2


Design Day 2 2005-12-17
 
 I left the Med School campus for good. Staying with a buddy in
Harvard's undergrad housing for the night. I went to Leo's for
breakfast. They've got the best sausage, egg and cheese sandwich you
can find in Harvard Square. Still haven't found anything that
compares in Berkeley.

I met Ben Williams there and caught up with him for a sec,
which was good. After cruising around campus for a while I went to
check out the Design School again to see a few more final reviews. I
also talked to some students. A few of them were pretty pumped about
the program but there were some words of caution about the job market
after school.

Dinner was at Charlie's another spot that has a local clientele along
with students. Good beer and an incredible jukebox are pluses but it's
also one of the few places where you can sit and eat some no-frills
diner food and drink heartily in a relatively relaxed, non-shmoozy
environment.
