Christmas in Greece - In Delphi


In Delphi
 
"where heaven and land meet...", or so I thought as I stepped out onto the hotel balcony, gazing into the sea and the sky as they blend together.  Just from the climate, I could sense how this misty, mystical location inspired centuries of mysteries.  People come for the famous monuments ("the rocks" as my friend put it), but just being in this historical, mythologenic, even spooky town was fascinating in itself.
