New Zealand - Off to Wellington via Auckland


Off to Wellington via Auckland 2006-11-13
 
Monday was a really boring travel day. I left the hostel in Te Ahora and drove back to the airport. I dropped off my car, checked in for my flight and had 4.5 hours to kill before boarding. I went over to the international terminal and played on the internet, window shopped, ate lunch (tempura udon, $9), and played on the internet.

My flight left on time at 4:30pm and arrived in wellington at5:30pm an Tina met me at the airport. We took a bus back to her house ($5.50 + $3.50) and she made dinner.

Downtown wellington is at sea level with all of the residential and subrub areas surrounding it on the hills.
