Introduction
2007-03-13
On this, our second visit to Hong Kong, my wife and I were accompanied by our six year old niece who was making her first ever trips by plane and out of the Philippines.
For those not familiar with the former British Crown Colony of Hong Kong: Hong Kong is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China. The former colony consists of three principle areas; Hong Kong Island, Lantau Island and the "main land" area consiting of Kowloon and "the New Territories." The principle Cities are Victoria on Hong Kong Island, Kowloon on the mainland penninsula and Tueng Chung on Lantau Island.
These three areas are linked by a system of rail, highway and fast ferry services.
