Moti Mahal brings refined Indian cuisine to Covent Garden. Head Chef Anirudh Aroras enticing menu is designed to excite the palate; traditional favourites are found alongside more innovative flavours such as Dum Korma (venison cooked in a sealed pot with fried mint and rose petals) Aloo Anardana (new potatoes tossed with ginger and dried pomegranate) and strawberry and cumin sorbet. The interior, a cool contemporary space spanning two levels, is a far cry from the usual curry house kitsch. The ground floor houses a vibrant cocktail bar; ideal for after work drinks or a pre-dinner aperitif. Here diners have the best seats in the house as they can watch the theatre of an open kitchen. Meanwhile, the downstairs dining room is a more intimate cosy space with a bar dedicated solely to whisky we have over 60 different varieties on offer. Our chic cream dining booths are perfect for friends to come together for a curry or for a romantic meal à la deux.
