Since 1987, the year Jean Michel Diot moved from France to the United States, he has lived a non-stop cooking career well highlighted by the press. In New York, he excelled in his own restaurants, Park Bistro and Les Halles. In La Jolla he opened Tapenade and brought the experience of his New York restaurants and mixed it to the sunny cooking of California.
