An extensive renovation has revitalized the Franciscan Crab Restaurant, a Fisherman's Wharf institution since 1957. Mahogany walls and ceilings and twenty foot windows overlook the bay and Alcatraz. Terraced dining in red leather booths afford views from every table: hand blown glass shades and chandeliers dazzle, black and white photos of celebrity patrons adorn the stairs and walls.
