Restaurant:

Viognier

Dining Info for Viognier

Viognier (vee-oh-NYAY ~ Rustic, Vibrant, Rich) is one of the Peninsula's premier restaurants.
Long since the Roman Empire, the Viognier grape has clung to the rustic, granite slopes in Condrieu, France. Vineyards are sheltered to protect this delicate bounty from the north winds that sweep across the steep hillsides. It is one of the most revered and exotic white wine grape varietals. It captivates with the hedonistic perfume of honey, peaches and apricots, finishing with an incomparable vibrancy, richness and opulence.
Chef Michael Greuel continues this tradition, focusing on the overtones of this countryside with his rustic, vibrant, rich food.
