Open since 1994, Mark’s Las Olas is still considered one of the most exceptional restaurants in South Florida. The restaurant is a showcase for culinary wizardry: combining classical cooking techniques with the freshest local ingredients. Seating 120, the restaurant’s menu features a wide array of signature dishes including pan seared Ingrid sea scallops with Jerusalem artichokes; pan roast of white water clams with tomatoes, chorizo, smoked pimento and potatoes; grilled Caribbean spiny lobster with jicama, crispy yuca and a passion fruit-vanilla bean vinaigrette; crab-crusted Black grouper with wild mushroom-salsify ragout, and white duck with mango honey glaze. Gourmet wood-oven pizzas round out the menu. With its bustling open kitchen, cozy booths and rich mahogany tables, Mark’s Las Olas commands center stage on Fort Lauderdale’s busiest thoroughfare. Appetizers range from $8 to $20, with pizzas, pastas and main courses from $13 to $44.
