This old fishing company turned restaurant hasn’t changed much in the past decades. The menu features fresh and affordable seafood. Expect to wait for a table outside, but it is worth it. Sitting on wooden benches overlooking the Miami River you get a sense of what Miami used to be. Along with the food, views of fishing boats, warehouses, rust and steel all contribute to a wonderful dining experience. In the retail fish market downstairs you can browse the daily fresh catch, straight from the sea. Garcia’s is only open for lunch.
