Don't be put off by it's small size or chaotic nature. This place has some of the best food in NYC. Risotteria's claim to fame is gluten free food, but for many of us, that doesn't really matter. For those of us who love our gluten (or who don't even know what it is), we go for the salad. The risotto is good, the carrot cake is good, but the salad is something you'll tell your friends about. I know it sounds crazy, but if you hop a train to Bleeker St. and follow your nose into this tiny corner restaurant and order anything covered in their balsamic salad dressing, you'll be on your computer that night telling everyone here how great it is!
