Melbourne is relatively compact.  Visitors will be able to walk between most attractions; otherwise, there is a thoughtfully provided and free trolley which makes a circuit around the Central Business District (new train every 15 min.).

What Melbourne lacks in other tourist attractions, it makes up for in museums.
