The southernmost country in Scandinavia, Denmark is also the friendliest and most continental. Copenhagen is its capital and largest city by far. Danes are a fun-loving people, not very unexpected as they live in a country that makes arguably the best beer in the world. Yes, they do drink a great deal of it too, nightlife in Copenhagen is surpassed by few other places in this part of the world. Danish design is famous throughout the world and can be seen in museums, shops and boutiques, it may be a good idea to invest in a great designer piece to take home instead of the usual bunch of souvenirs.
