| With the exception of a few university bars, the nightlife in Dresden happens in the Neustadt. And there's definitely enough going on for the whole city. When the sun sets there's a seamless dransition from lounging and eating to post-dinner drinks, to dancing like crazy. Just walking around the Neustadt you'll run into tons of options. Some places are loungy and swank, others throb with techno, hip-hop and sweaty dancers. |
| This is perhaps the most atmospheric bar in Dresden, which is not an empty claim. Die 100 is in the dungeon-like coal cellar of an old house, lit by candle, and stocked with innumerable wines (the tally is over 300). It's like something out of a overstyled liquor commercial but doesn't feel fake. That's probably because the clientele is so mellow. |
