| As the capital, there is a major international airport, Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS).
Other parts of the country can be accessed by rail or plane. The train routes leave from the main hubs, Entrecampos and Oriente.

The subway is a good way to access most of the city. The 4 main lines are named after primary colors and cover most of the city, meeting in the center. You can buy individual tickets, or go with strips of 10 for a good rate.
Taxis are also a good option, inexpensive compared to most major European cities. Be careful though, as with any city, the drivers can take a round-about path to hike their fees.
