Composed of coral, and scattered like a child's small fistful of flower petals, the 115 islands of the Seychelles bridge the poem of ocean and air that sings in the Indian Ocean's prettiest of places. The Platonic form of idyllic island perfection, these fair paint drops are the world's Alpha and Omega of tropical serenity. Green, blue, and all the rainbow of chromatic expression that marries the two- are born, stretch, and reach 'true becoming' in the Seychelles. Come in the spring between March and May and again in the autumn between September and Thanksgiving (November.) The igneous rock piles gleefully, whilst the white sand beaches and swaying palms have an almost primordial feel to them, as if this were just one or two Pterodactyl rides away from Fred Flintstone and the gang over in Bedrock. If you aren't into the whole Darwin scene- but you still want to see some jumbo tortoises, your in luck, call it Intelligent Design, what besides God could devise a second tortoise hangout?!. Giant Tortoises are found naturally in only two terrestrial planes, the Galapagos and the Seychelles. Bring your fins, Google your goggles and submerge for some pristine submarining and scubarific diving. Unwind in the town of La Digue, quaff some Seybrews, the area lager, and take plenty of mental photographs.
