Samui is too developed to compare with its more wild sister, Koh Phangan, in terms of nature. Still, you can visit its famous interior waterfall (Namuang) or its rather unique tropical garden filled with sculptures created by one talented hermit (The Magic Buddha Garden). The nightlife of Chaweng (which has plenty of nice restaurants and discos along with its girlie bars and massages), however, is the most happening non-full-moon scene you’ll find in the eastern islands.
