| Every travel agenda is different and our guess is that no top ten “sights to see” list will completely nail your most gratifying potential London experience. Highly popular attractions are not necessarily the best (and even if they were, best is still a subjective word), but luckily many of London’s tourist sites offer more than a familiar and famous name. London isn’t just another old European city; it is one that has managed to physically rebuild and culturally reinvent itself time and time again. The resulting layers of history and mores you’ll discover here are bound to intrigue even the most critical of must-see devotees.
That said, staples of the tourist circuit are Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London and the London Bridge, the Tate Britain and the Tate Modern and the British Airways London Eye.
