At both the North Rim and South Rim areas there are plenty of snack shops, restaurants and at least one "saloon." The South Rim is generally a safer bet, with more options and good places to stock up on groceries of you're planning on camping.
Water is also a big deal. There have been some fatalities; the park service folks take hydration very seriously and so should you. Make sure you have plenty of drinking water on hand in your car and, especially if you're hiking, in your bag. Budget about a liter an hour per person on a hot day. And be sure to drink it!
