The Sunset strip area has the flashier, more expensive ones, for corporate travelers and movie biz meetings. The Chateau Marmont, with its extremely sceney bar and rooms that are routinely demolished by intoxicated stars, is on the strip.
There are also the luxurious, top-tier spots like the Penninsula. These are usually around Beverly Hills.
