| Locals complain about lack of shopping in Napa, and most drive out of town. But First Street may be up and coming. Two relatively new bourtiques, Betty's Girl and Wildcat are doing well. Betty's Girl is run by a Hollywood costume designer named Kim. She's got impeccable taste and great fashion sense. She'll set you up with a perfect costume for any occasion, or a great vintage outfit. Across the street, Wildcat is a punky, hip shop where you'll find vintage dresses, top hats and fishnet stockings. There are a few other antique stores worth checking out, and the Napa Premium Outlets are just a Downtown Trolly ride away. The outlets have everything from Ann Taylor Loft to BCBG and other upscale fashions. Many people from neighboring cities actually come into Napa to shop here. |
