Introduction to Redding
Redding is the biggest city in far northern California. And that's about it. It's not all that remarkable, unfortunately, and doesn't have the small-town charm of nearby Mt. Shasta, Yreka or Weed.

While some of the surrounding areas have nice scenery, the city of Redding, has very little. The dry heat in the summer is insane often reaching 117 F degrees. Stores are fairly mainstream, with the standard group of restraunts and stores that most cities have. The best part of passing through the area is the view of MT. Shasta in the distance.
