| | San Jose is my hometown. I'm not saying there's much to do in SJ, but if you find yourself stuck there, there's more than enough to keep you occupied. It's the heart of Silicon Valley and will likely continue to be the heart of technology for a lon g time to come. Basically, throughout its history a variety of immigrant groups have stormed the area. It is a meritage of cultures who have melted into Silicon Valley. With that said, any sort of ethnic activity can be found in San Jose. Century 21, 22 & 23 are a great old school theaters with modern sound and a HUGE screens, there's the Tech Museum, Winchester Mystery House, Santana Row, and downtown San Jose that has a little something for everyone. In short, if you're passing through it's a nice place, but don't make it a destination. |
