| Santa Cruz can be roughly divided into three areas: downtown, east-side, and west-side.
Downtown is centered around Pacific Avenue, filled with restaurants and shoppings. Strolling Pacific Avenue is a popular past-time for both locals and tourists.
Being closest to the university, the west-side is popular among students, but it's also known for its easy access to the bay.
Head down West Cliff Drive for a spectacular view. On a clear day you can see Monterey.
East-side is a little quieter but still popular with tourists and students. Here you'll find the Santa Cruz Harbor, Twin Lakes beach, and some great restaurants.
